Within the past 30 days, we've hit milestones. Luke turned four-months-old and Drew 19-months. They both had great well visits, with Luke weighing in yesterday at 14.5 lbs and 24.25 inches. He is a great eater and unless he's gassy is all smiles, giggles and chatter.
Andrew is declaring his independence by foraging through every drawer, cabinet, box or bag he can find! He's also practicing to climb mountains because no height is too daunting for him to attempt to scale chairs, sofas and tables. When he began climbing into his space-saver high chair on New Year's Day, I was in disbelief! A couple days later, after he woke from a nap, still groggy, he promptly walked to the kitchen and climbed into his seat. Before he falls, I figured there's no time like the present to permanently set his place at the big boy table!
Another development is the obvious love and mutual admiration that is flourishing between the boys. This makes for some teary-eyed and photographic moments for Mommy.
God has richly blessed us. Who could ask for anything more!? In the words of David, "Who am I, Lord God, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?" 1 Chronicles 17:16
