Eventful week

Luke is eight days old now and his first week of life has been eventful but also peace-filled. Except when he needs a diaper change, is hungry, or gassy, he's pretty content and often asleep. The first doctor's visit revealed Luke has grown a quarter of an inch in length and is still within the 10 percent of his birth weight at 6 lbs 13 oz.

Andrew is adjusting well and is intrigued by his younger brother. He has tried many times to touch him. We are working on showing him "gentle"
touch. When his Nana and Auntie B leave, Drew will surely miss them, we all will. Having family in the same house the past week has been great all around.

Right before my eyes, Drew is becoming an even more fearless explorer and exhibits a great deal of independence. He also has learned what it means when I ask for a kiss and has added bye-bye and cheese to his vocabulary.

Can't express just how humbling this life experience has been. A miracle manchild two consecutive years! God spoils us. Oh, how he loves us!!!
